The Bugera BTX36000, also known as "The Nuke" is a professional-quality stereo bass amplifier head with true bi-amping. The rugged metal unit installs in any standard equipment rack and can operate in stereo or bridged modes, with 1800W per channel in stereo mode and 3600W in bridged mode.
The Nuke provides a wide array of tone-adjustment features, including a 9-band graphic EQ, dedicated Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, and switchable ultra low and ultra high processing. There is also a bright function for sound enhancement, even with heavy compression. An integrated crossover with frequency and balance controls is provided for bi-amping operation. The amplifier's internal compressor increases sustain and smooths out volume peaks, while integrated protection circuitry prevents damage from DC or thermal overload.
The amp features balanced DI outputs with pre and post routing for direct connection to a mixing console. There are also front and rear tuner outputs and a stereo effects loop for external effects devices such as stomp boxes or rack effects. A dual footswitch unit is included for convenient FX loop and graphic EQ control.
