Ask our Experts!

The Nissin SC-01 Universal Shoe Cord is a coiled off-camera shoe cord which has multiple contact points.  It will transmit the preflash-metering commands of Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Pentax, and Samsung SLR cameras just as if you were using the manufacturer's own cord.

It will properly transmit the same commands to the manufacturer's original flash units, as well as to third-party flashes from Nissin, Sunpak, Sigma, etc.

Nissin thought to put a second flash shoe atop the camera-connection-end of this cord, and that allows you to quickly bring your shoe-cord-mounted flash to above the camera's viewfinder without needing to disconnect the flash from the cord.

Perfectly transmits the evaluative-preflash TTL metering commands of Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Pentax, and Samsung SLR cameras
A second hotshoe atop camera-end coupling allows placing the cord-mounted flash atop the camera position, without needing to remove flash from cord
