Comments about Alesis TransActive Drummer Electronic Drum Amplifier:
I bought this a couple of months ago. I have a roland 5 piece and this thing works like a charm. Plug the headphones in and the external sound cuts out and you play along to the ipod. Unplug them and the external speaker kicks in and provides decent bass and highs. My neighbors across the street can hear me if I crank it up, but not loud enough to create a disturbance. Its perfect for what I need without getting me in too much trouble.

Comments about Alesis TransActive Drummer Electronic Drum Amplifier:
This is a nice little amp for drums. It has a woofer for the lower drum sounds and a tweeter for the symbols. You can dock your iPod to play along. It is very good for the price. The amp is not bad but I wish it was a little bit loader. Perfect for jamming around the house. Loud enough to be heard without getting too obnoxious.
