My DSLR is compatible with the Sony Memory Stick Pro HG Duo, but came with a standard SD memory card. Upgrading to the PRO-HG Duo has provided an approximately 20% increased transfer speed during video recording (from camera to stick) and greater than 30% increased transfer speed when downloading stills (from stick to PC). I will never use anything slower ever again.

I was happy to find out how fast this card loaded into my Macbook Pro! It came with a reader that i figured wouldn't be so great but it transfered a full 16GB card-about 15 actual-in less than ten minutes! I have only had it for a few weeks so cant comment on durability but the price is good and it is reasonably quick!

I recently purchased a new camcorder and route video to the hard drive and photos to the Memory Stick. When I want to view the images I just pop it out, insert it into the reader I received with the system, and plug it into my laptop. Works great!!!

I use this for the Sony Camcorder HDR-CX500 I purchased April 2010. With the internal memory the stick gives me 48GB of memory. I set it up so pics go on the Memory Stick and video to the internal memory. It came with an adapter as well.
