The 4TB 2Big Network Hard Drive from LaCie is an advanced network hard drive with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. It allows you to share files among Windows, Mac, and Linux systems on your network. It also features a USB port for storage expansion, UPnP streaming, Wake-on-LAN capability, and Active Directory support.
The drive is housed in an aluminum enclosure with hot-swappable disk drives. You can configure it as a RAID 0 for full performance and capacity or as a RAID 1 for real-time data mirroring at half capacity. The drive's blue orb is actually a button which, when activated, triggers 1-click file import from a connected USB device.
