The Gitzo GT2531EX 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod uses advanced "Carbon 6X" carbon fiber material for its leg construction. This improved tubing is stronger, lighter and as resistant as its 12 layer predecessor. Carbon "6X" is manufactured using a complex, 3-D process weaving 6 layers of carbon fiber into smooth, solid constructed tubes.
This tripod incorporates many new ideas in tripod design and offers extreme flexibility. It features individually locking legs that can be fixed at any angle from 0° to 90° and a column that will tilt from the vertical, right over beyond the horizontal and lock solidly at any angle.
The GT2531EX is especially ideal for outdoor macro and nature photography, when used with digital SLRs with 200mm lenses (up to a 300mm maximum), lightweight camcorders, or spotting scopes. It offers an excellent load capacity rating of 26.4 lbs (12kg) and good torsional rigidity.
G1220.129B3 1.5" Long Spike Set for Gitzo Tripods This Spike foot set (3 spikes) fits all Gitzo tripods (except Series 1). Provides a firm footing on soft ground, 1.5" (40mm) long.
The Gitzo GH2750 Series 2 Off Center Magnesium Ballhead follows the same outer shell design and look of the G1275M, but has completely redesigned and re-engineered internal components and mechanisms. The weight has been reduced by 15-17%, and new Gitzo technologies have been introduced.
Exceptionally smooth rotation, positive locking, and rapid camera mounting are all features common to the Gitzo designed range of ballheads. The graduated base, with independent locking facilities permits perfect panoramic photography. The design of the panoramic base permits these ballheads to be used for table top or near ground level work with or without the use of a tripod. This is an offset ballhead, which makes it possible to point more than 90° down. Includes the standard size Gitzo quick release plate.
The Gitzo G1173-14B Quick Release Plate fits the G1172, G1276 and G1276M, G1387B and G1285B heads, and features an adjustable 1/4"-20 camera screw with video pin.
A quick release plate can be kept attached to the camera's base and allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
