I had read wonderful things about this printer. It was on the strength of these many reviews that I finally bought it. I'm currently very pleased with the printer as it performs off the computer it's wired into. It's the wireless connection that I'm having a problem with. I've spent hours on the phone with both B & H and with Epson without any resolution. Both concluded that the problem is probably with my computer(a recent Dell Inspiron)and Vista. When I print something from this computer, the printer spews blank paper until the paper runs out. It does not respond to the cancel button. I'm really at a loss as to what to do and would appreciate it if anyone with a similar problem or any ideas could respond to this review.

Comments about Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One Printer:
Setup was very easy and didn't require any phone calls. Amazing quality pictures and cards can be printed. Best of all, if you have any of the apple devices such as iPod touch or iPhone, there is a free app called epson iprint that enables you to print pictures that you see. Wireless works seemlessly with all computers at home. Caution...if you have a Voip phone then you will be unable to send faxes on any of these type of printers. You need a regular phone line.

I have only been using this product for a short time but everything works so smoothly. The touch screen is very easy to navigate. It took a little bit to get things set up for two-sided printing but once it was done, it works like a dream. I love this unit.

Comments about Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One Printer:
I give this All-In-One (AIO) 4-stars only because I have not used it long enough to be that generous. However, it IS already a 5-Star product in my mind.
This is a fully featured, high tech, well designed and EZ to use AIO.
The price was more than reasonable (look for a unit from a reputable dealer - like B&H) below $160 and you will be guilty of grand theft; this AIO is worth its' FULL retail price.
Actually, with its extra features and 2-year Epson warranty this AIO is truly an AIO-PLUS.
Pros - everything. Really? Really.
Cons - so far, nothing major to report. Was a bit "noisy" until I selected "quiet printing" (at a slightly slower print speed) and the mild output clamor totally ended. Do wish this AIO could handle my biz card printing, my only frown.
Mikey likes it. And so do I.

I use this printer for all my scanning and printing needs. I replace a $500.00 HP unit that didn't even come close to doing what this Epson can. The ability to print beautiful CD/DVDs is amazing in such a low cost, NOT CHEAP, unit!
Easy to use!

Comments about Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One Printer:
Easy to setup - i was printing wirelessly in little to no time. I haven't tried to fax with it as we don't even have a land line. So far so good.
I don't know how expensive it will be to buy the ink or how often that will be necessary - that could be the only downside.

Comments about Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One Printer:
The print quality is really great and I like that you can fully customize each print job. It's easy to print double-sided and on different kinds of paper. It was also very easy to set up wirelessly and to set up the fax. You can customize the print density to achieve higher quality or economical and environmentally-friendly prints that dry quickly and use less ink. The print margins are much smaller than my HP all-in-one that quit working so that's really great for printing brochures, posters, photos, etc. The only thing I don't like so far is that the paper tray is rather clumsy and seems to be the one design flaw. It jammed one of the first times I was using it with thin cheap paper.

Just got it very recently. I haven't tried out all the features yet. As far as printing & copying, it works like a charm. I still need to try out the scanning & faxing features.
The ink cartridges are expensive though.

Comments about Epson Artisan 810 All-In-One Printer:
This is our family PC all purpose printer/copier/scanner.
The Good: The printer was packaged and protected well. The printer drivers were easy to install on our Dell XP box and setup was pretty straightforward. The self-feeding copier is nice and works well. The touch screen controls are easy to read and fairly self-explanatory, so anyone could use it. The basic printing on normal settings is good, and high res photo printing was pretty good as well. I printed some 8x10 black/white photo that came out well.
The Not-so-Good: The wireless setup wasn't as smooth as the wired setup. The printer found and connected to my wireless router just fine, but when I tried to install the printer driver on my Windows 7 laptop, it couldn't find the drivers on the CD. Maybe they were there somewhere, but it wasn't automatic, and I had to go to the Epson web site and download two different installs before I got the right one and got it working. All is well now. I tried scanning an old black/white photo and the dark parts looked like they had dust on them, and I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. I'm certain it wasn't real dust on the glass. I had the same photo scanned at a Kinko's shop earlier and it did not have the "dust" in the scanned image. Printing in draft mode made a light-gray printout that was kind of hard to read. The "Normal" output version was fine, but I like to use Draft mode by default for most simple pages that I don't intend to keep long - it saves ink. But this draft mode seems a bit too "drafty" for me. Otherwise, it seems like a good printer so far.
