I also have a 8gb 300x Lexar and when I dump off wedding photos at the end of an event I do notice the faster sped of the 600x which gets me started editing sooner. Both drives are fantastic and reliable. I have not missed a shot waiting on my cards.

I shoot mostly TaeKwonDo indoors, my old card was a Lexar 300X 4GB. My old card still works but needed extra cards for vacation, decided to upgrade at the same time to the 600X,
Lexar great quality

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
This card is fast and definitely worth the money, I shoot with a 5D II with RAW files (approx 21-30mb) and I never have a problem with buffering. It also speeds up processing them on computer.

I've been using the Lexar Professional Flash memory card for a couple months with my Canon 7d DSLR. It has operated flawlessly and produces great photos (whenever I take great photos). I'm completely happy with it.

No waiting for the card to load images. Fast download to backup drive. Haven't tried it for movies but it should do a great job. Lexar is the best!

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
I got this card about a month ago and so far have had no issues. I work with the Canon 7D and have had no problem with the card keeping up with the camera, even while shooting in RAW. I've always trusted Lexar products and plan on purchasing a few more of these cards.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
I use these cards with the D3 and D3s, use them daily, haven't noticed a particular advantage over the earlier 300x's other than they download to the computer much faster. With two cards in the cameras, 8G per card is more than enough for one of my shoots.
I don't use them for video, so there may well be an advantage I'm unaware of there, don't do long sequences of rapid shooting, so again, can't comment. Otherwise very happy with them as I've been with all their cards used now over many years.

Comments about Lexar 8GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
I have several Sandisk Extreme III cards, and my camera was being very sluggish. I thought I would give Lexar a go to see if I can speed up either capture or download.
As it turned out, my camera was sluggish because of a setting that I had inadvertently altered, so once I got that sorted out the Sandisk cards were plenty fast. However (and I have not done any "testing" of this hypothesis), it seems to me that the Lexar card is faster when I download the RAW images to my computer.
The other nice thing about Lexar cards is that their little plastic cases are smaller than the Sandisk cases, which makes them fit much more easily into my card wallet. In fact, I would venture to guess that my card wallet was designed for the Lexar cases, as they really fit perfectly. The Sandisk cases just barely fit into the slots and they overlap uncomfortably in places.
I wish I could say that this card was leaps and bounds beyond the others, but for my current workflow I barely notice a difference. However, I'm glad that I gave it a try and I'm sure that it will come in handy in the next camera body that I plan to own.
