Lexar has dependable speed and performance in CF cards, and these high speed UDMA cards are a good example. The 16GB is just the right size for folks shooting the newer larger megapixel sensor cameras that also are video capable, like the Canon 7D. The card speed is very important not only inside the camera, where these cards do a great job of keeping the buffer cleared and being able to keep up with video shooting, but make an even bigger difference when you go to off-load all those great shots and video. The 16GB 600x Lexar Professional USMA cards are near perfect in that respect....not too big, but still great capacity and very good speed. Plus they come with the image rescue software, that can usually get you out of those ugly occasional jams when something or somebody was not paying best attention.
Only reason they did not get 5 stars is that I was comparing them against the Hoodman RAW 675x CF cards which really smoke on speed. But for the cost, the Lexars are tops in my book. Must have for video hungry DSLRs and speed shooters alike.

I used the CF card for a movie of a Commisioner's Cup soccer game. Sad to say, it seems to have some problems. It isn't writing properly. Spent [$] on this card, but it is too late to return it to B & H, so now I am just out of luck. Personally, if I could exchange it, I would be willing to try it again, but since I can't, I would never buy another Lexar, plus I wouldn't buy any from B & H, as the return period expires before I even had a chance to discover the card was faulty.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
In anticipation of having to shoot a ballet, I purchased two Lexar 16GB 600x Compact Flash cards.
Wow!
What a performance boost! My 5D MK II sizzled with rapid fire shots of the action.
But, when I really came to appreciate these cards is when I filled both of them up and had to resort to the cards I'd previously been using. My free-wheeling multi-shot strategy when using the 600x card instantly came to an abrupt halt with the older cards.
I should have purchased two 32GB versions and will be doing so immediately! A great way to make a great camera even better.

I Have seen too many bad experiences with "cheap" memory cards. I lead tours to South America as well as Alaska and you certainly don't want to have problems out in the bush. You tend to get what you pay for so If I want excellent, I know it may cost a little more in the beginning but will save me in the long run and that is why I prefer Lexar 16 GB CF memory cards.

I am professional wedding and portrait photographer so in camera fast write speeds are not critical to me. However, fast write speeds to the computer is a huge bonus when it comes time to download- and that is where this card shines. I have only shot a family portrait with this card, but it performed well.

I have two of these cards and I get about 550 exposures on my Canon 5D Mark II when shooting in RAW! My 50D shoots continuously without being burdened by the constant buffering. These cards are fast and worth every penny.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
This card is used in my Canon 5D MKll which is used for both pictures and video. At times when single shots are taken it perhaps does not make any difference but when I burn a number of shots one right after another it does. My honest reason for getting the card is that I may once again be able to upgrade my MK ll up to a MK lll assuming that becomes possible. That being the case and know that larger file sizes keep coming, I want to always have a card that will be able to take advantage of the camera's full potential. B&H shipped quick at a great price so how could I pass it up?

I use the Lexar 16GB card with my Canon 7D and have been completely happy with my purchase. Most of my purchases over the years for my camera setups have been Lexar CF cards and I have always been satisfied. Never a hiccup or lost data.

Needed a fast card for HD video and I couldn't ask for a better card. Super fast writing. It gets even better when you get to a computer and it downloads faster than other cards (at least it seems to). Build quality seems to be top-notch too. Can't wait to test it this winter.

After switching from a 10mp camera to a 21mp, having twice the storage is a really nice thing, especially for weddings. Have to switch cards less often. Reliable and fast. Can't complain.
