The 8TB StorCenter ix4-200d NAS Server from Iomega is a network storage server that features robust content sharing and advanced security. Powered by enterprise-class storage technology, the StorCenter features dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, file sharing capabilities, iSCSI block access, and support for RAID 5 and RAID 10 configurations.
USB ports allow the server to communicate with USP devices, printers, Bluetooth adapters, external hard drives, and Axis IP security cameras. The server can be configured via an easy-to-use interface and features Microsoft Active Directory support, removing headaches from device management.
Home users will appreciate the DLNA certified UPnP AV Media Server, which allows you to stream media files stored on the server to compatible home theater devices. It also supports the Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) and BitTorrent downloads. RSA BSAFE encryption software is included. The server supports Windows, Mac, and Linux clients. It is VMware certified for NFS and iSCSI.
