One disadvantage was that the catalogue description stated that it was Mac compatible but when we went to install discovered that it was not compatible to the Mac OSX 10.4.11 when using with Skype

Decent webcam- worked without installing any of the software (I have a Mac). The field angle is a little tight- I have to sit about 3-4 feet away from the monitor in order to have much more than my head in the shot. Picture quality and sound are decent.

it was as good as i paid for ..
I wished it had a zoom ability .. maybe i will buy a better one later ..
The other thing is that its name is not clear when selecting as it gives the name 44 and the built-in mic as 33 which was confusing in the beginning.
Finally i was shocked that when i started using it in my MacMini it gave me a mirrored projection of me (Skype,FaceTime and Photo Booth) .. in windows it was ok .. it seems like it is a Mac thing.
