My main headphones for at home listening are Sennheiser 595's. The 595's are way too bulky and the cord is way too long to use outdoors. These Beats work far better for that application.
Overall they are good headphones. Not completely closed. If you use these in a quiet setting like a library, people are going to hear your music.
They also favor bass a little too much meaning these headphones are somewhat genre specific. If you're listening to Rap & R&B these are perfect (they have Dr. Dre's name on them afterall), but if your primary use is classical or vocals, you'll want to look for something more neutral.

I use the head phones when I got skateboard. They never slip or fall of my ears, and I love the talk controle. I have listened to sone with them that I have heard a thousand times and hear stuff I have never heard before. I have no complaints about my purchase at all.

I like these headphones so much that I have to remind myself to take them off! They are very comfortable and constructed of high quality materials. The sound is truly amazing. In fact I prefer to listen to regular music and radio using my Beats. I also like the controller and the built in mic. Both work very well. I purchased the Beats Solo and mine also came with another cable( no mic or in-line controller), a cleaning cloth, and a neoprene carrying case. I ride my bike to school and the carrying case is great because it has this cool plastic buckle that let's you strap your case right to your bag.
Cons:
High Price
Although, constructed of very high quality materials; this leads to a noticeable dampening of any outside noise so using the earphones to make calls is possible and works fine, but you might be walking around unitentionally screaming into the mic.
Overall:
Best pair of earphones I've ever owned! They will truly bring out parts of songs that you have never heard before. If you love music well worth the price.

I use these to listen to music and was planning to use these while traveling. They sound terrific and really open up the music... the clarity of sound is terrific and they are super comfortable. The big problem with these is that the sound leaks out so that they would definitely be disruptive to anyone sitting next to or around the user.

The headphones are great. Smaller and more mobile than the studio the solos provide great quality sound amazing bass and look stellar. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is due to the price, you have to pay a premium for the beats but they provide the sound quality that I was looking for.
