The Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter allows you to mount 99% of all Nikon SLR lenses by any manufacturer to a Micro Four Thirds mount camera body. Nikon G series lenses will not work, since they don't have the necessary aperture ring to control the f/stop. Lenses which protrude so deeply into the Nikon camera body that mirror lock up is required will also not work.
The Micro Four Thirds mount is a very adaptable system because it has an unusually small lens back focus. This in turn allows room for adapters for other lenses.

I got handed down some old Nikkor F-mount lenses. I got this adapter to use them on my Olympus E-P1. Works great. It was very exciting to try legacy glass on a digital camera. The adapter does exactly what it is supposed to do. Some of the lenses are kind of wierd when you put them on my camera. All but one lens have the f-stop at the top of the camera where you would expect it -- the odd lens has it half-way around on the left. Expect to have to use a tri-pod if you are working with older lenses. I have a 50mm F-mount prime that is fast enough but the others I tried are somewhat shaky.

Quality is not on the level of Panasonic manufactured adapter for Leica M-mount to 4/3, however precise.
The real problem is G-series lenses, eg. Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G Lens, - there is NO apreture ring or any other handle to adjust aperture on the lens.
I have returned this and have to buy Novoflex adapter instead.

Works great! I am using it to connect Zeiss ZF.2 lenses to a Panasonic AF100 video camera. It was the right solution, since it allows me to use the aperture controls directly on the lenses.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
I love my voigtlander 25/.95 lens and bought this as a second 4/3 adapter.
I was disappointed to see that it does not have an exterior aperture ring like the Novoflex adapter does. So, I returned this and bought a second Novoflex.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
Exceellent workmanship; the fit on the MFT body and Nikon lenses is perfect. I had bought a much cheaper one before and basically threw it away due to poor fit and lens release control. Vpigtlander makes good products.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
This adapter replaced one I purchased online of lesser quality and light construction. Now any fixed AIS lens I put on (24,35,50mm)fits tight and secure. It is incredible the quality shots I am getting with my GH2. What a great camera format...my older lenses are back in use!

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
We use the Voitlander adapter with a set of manual Ziess ZF lenses on an AF-100 and GH2 and so far the adapter has been great. Was a little wary from the lower price compared to other adapters around $300-$400 but so far it has met our needs perfectly.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
I attempted to use this adapter with a Panasonic G3 and a Nikon AF 28-300 lens. The camera would not recognize the lens so the only option that I could use with the camera-lens combination was manual focus. The camera has built-in capability for assisting the manual focus process but it can only be used with a standard 4/3 lens. To summarize, you can only use manual focus when using the G3 with the Nikon lens. Automatic focus will not work

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
This is a great adapter. I have used it to mount a assortment of Nikon lenses on a Panasonic AG-AF100 and the focus distances are absolutely accurate with no problems whatsoever. The flange depth is perfect and allows you to use any Nikon lens on micro four thirds mount digital cameras with no problems. It is a bargain at the price.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
I originally tried a generic 'brand-x' adaptor from another retailer, but returned it due to poor fit. This product is MUCH better, using separately machined and chromed mounts both for the F side and the M43 body. Fit on my Panny GF1 is perfect, as is infinity focus (meaning flange-to-flange depth is correct). Sturdy F lens release lever. Really nicely tapered, concentrically grooved, non-reflective inner surface. The F lenses put a bigger light circle out the back side than native M43s, and you don't want that getting bounced around inside the camera, leading to loss of image contrast. I am very pleased overall. You get what you pay for.

Comments about Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to Nikon F Lens Adapter:
Hard to comprehend how a chunk of metal can cost so much. That said, this works perfectly with several Nikkor lenses, 35mm f/2 O-series being my favorite rig for my GH2. Photos are tack sharp and low light is not a problem. It's sharper than the kit 14-140mm at same settings.
Also used with 105 f/2.5 with equally good results. If you're not concerned with having to do manual focus and apeture adjustments, this and several Nikkor lenses may be an effective alternative to the lack of of large apeture m4/3 lens offerings for you.
