We used this equipment for our JVC camera to shoot College Hockey games and has worked great. If your looking for a reliable Zoom and Focus set then this canon set is the way to go.

We are not aware of this controller being compatible with a YJ18 lens. However we do offer the Canon MS-22M Zoom and Focus Control Kit for ENG/EFP Lenses, BH #CAMS22M, which is compatible with YJ18 lenses.
