Viliv Premium 3GP Overview

The X70 EX Premium 3GP Mobile Internet Device from Viliv is a compact computer that weighs only a pound and a half. The X70 EX's 7" touch-screen display boasts an impressive 1024 x 600 resolution, capable of displaying 720p HD video at near-native resolution. It can operate for up to 5.5 hours on a single battery charge. The computer can sleep for up to 150 hours per charge, and can be ready to use from sleep in as little as five seconds.

The handheld computer features a wealth of wireless connectivity options. Standard 802.11b/g Wi-Fi allows you to get online at Internet hotspots. Integrated 3G broadband, compatible with the AT&T network in the US, lets you get online sans Wi-Fi. Simply swing by an AT&T store and sign up for a subscription to make use of this feature. The Bluetooth 2.0+EDR module supports compatible wireless peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and headphones. An integrated GPS system lets you know exactly where you are in the world. Additionally, you'll be able to participate in online video chat thanks to the integrated webcam and microphone.

The computer is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Silverthorne Z520 CPU. It is loaded with 1GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD hard drive. Windows XP Home is the installed operating system. You can expand the computer's storage via the use of SD and SDHC memory cards, which fit into the integrated card reader. The computer's interface is enhanced by Viliv's Cube UI overlay which allows you to launch your favorite programs from easily-accessible bubbles for quick access. You can access up to 180 different applications in this manner.

An on-screen keyboard allows you to type with ease. It features haptic feedback, which provides physical confirmation of a button press via vibration to help you type more accurately. In addition to touch selection of items, a four-way jog wheel and clickable mouse buttons are present for cursor control. The system also provides dedicated OK, function, keyboard, and menu buttons.

GPS
Built-in GPS lets you use any Windows XP navigation software -- including StreetDeck, Google Earth, or Microsoft Streets and Trips. There's no need look up an address on your computer and transfer it to your car's GPS, because the Viliv X70 EX is with you anywhere you go -- including your wife's car or rental. The included car kit makes it easy to use in the car, and the incredible battery life assures this is a reliable solution
3G HSPA
Thanks to its integrated 3G data model (HSPA), you can enjoy broadband Internet anytime, on a 3G network. (Customers in the United States can simply stop into an AT&T store to sign up for service, which is available on a subscription or pay-as-you-go plan. Please note that the T-Mobile network will not support 3G speeds with this device.)

Haptic Keyboard
With the X70 EX's haptic feedback, you can actually "feel" a press of a key on the onscreen keyboard. Of course, Viliv offers the diminutive stowaway portable Bluetooth keyboard if you prefer a physical keyboard
Cube UI
The unique Cube UI lets you add and remove programs for easy access at your fingertips. Select up to 36 programs for each category and assign them to any of the available "bubble". Since programs are arranged by type you can keep your productivity software separate from your play software, and switch between them with the flick of your finger. A great UI like this makes for an intuitive and satisfying experience
Easy PC to PC Data Transfer
The X70 EX features the unique capability to link directly with another PC using a standard USB cable, and move files back-and-forth at a rate of 700MB/sec.
