Video and stills - the buffer light hardly comes on.Yes you can buy San-disc or lexar at triple the price tag but why would you.I have used Transcend cards for 2 years now and love them. Not to mention they are equiped with error write protection. It is imposible to lock up one of thiese becouse the file didn't write.
The 400x and 600x are in my opinion the best CF cards in the world as of the year 2010 - period.

The first 2 cards and the last time I will ever consider buying from "Transcend". Worst experience ever! I got 2 and initial test (random few shots of photo and several minutes of video) works fine. I put on a family event on a sunday party to test it out before a actual job (thanks god) for video and photo. Only 1 retain the photo and video, the other shows up empty when i put it in the computer. I give it 1 start for their pricing effort. Stick with sandisk and save your behind!

I have always used Lexar and sandisk cards without any issues. I recently upgraded to a D800 (amazing camera!!!) and the file sizes are huge so I needed to upgrade to some larger cards. I priced the 64 gb Lexar and sandisk cards and they were outrageous. I was a bit skeptical about using a brand that I am not familiar with but the reviews were good and the price was great. I have no complaints, they work as advertised.

I have never had issues with Transcend cards before and these are fantastic, reliable cards. They also work in my new Canon C300 fine in 1080P 24p, 30p, slow motion 30fps, 720/60p, and so on. But they do NOT work for slow motion 60fps (2.5x slow). In other words if you choose slow & fast motion mode at 720P and set recording to 24p and frames to 60, it will fail every time after a couple of minutes. Otherwise it's fine. Canon says only Sandisk Extreme and ExtremePro work for 720P 2.5x slow mo.

Have only been using it for a week but so far has preformed just as good as my SanDisk Extreme cards.
I bought the 64gb card for long (6-12hr) timelapse shoots but I also shoot a lot of video and having a 64 gig card is very helpful.

Comments about Transcend 64GB CompactFlash Memory Card 400x UDMA:
Purchased this for my FS-H200PRO video recording device. It works just fine. So far, the Transcend 64 GB Compact Flash memory card is able to hold 4+ hours of DV footage without issues. No corrupt files; no problems transferring the video file from the FS-H200Pro to my computer for editing. The only problem that I experienced was initially when I first attempted to format the card within the FS-H200Pro. It seemed to "hang" without finishing the format. I tried to format the card a couple of times without apparent success. So, what I did as a "trouble-shoot" was to simply turn off then turn back on the FS-H200PRO device. All was well when I turned the unit back on. I hadn't experienced this problem before. To be honest, I'm not sure if the momentary problem had to do with the card or with the FS-H200PRO device. But since that time I've successfully re-formatted the card without issue. So far, this memory card meets my very modest needs.

At first I was very excited about a 64gb card for a reasonable price. After 2 day long video shoots in which I lost half or all my data, my mind changed. If you use this card be sure you are also recording to another form of media. Luckily on my second shoot I was synchrous with my mini dv tape. Unfortunately, on my first I lost everything. A whole day worth of shooting lost. Suffice to say the client I was working for was less then pleased.

While my 7d still has the problem of filming in 4 minute bursts, the 64 GB CF card has made it possible to go through a 10 hr. shoot day without having to offload or change out cards. Plus, B&H had the best prices on these. I'm very happy with my purchase and hoping to snag another one of these soon.

Wanted to purchase the Transcend 32 GB card, but, they were out, so, I purchased this one. I have used the Transcend cards (32 GB) before and they were great. My preliminary tests with this (64 GB) card have proven it to be as good as the 32 GB cards, so, I think you have a winner. Incidentally, the person who was talking about only getting 12 minutes from his larger card probably didn't realize that the 12 minute time limit is not a function of the card, but, of the format and the camera. (shooting video on the 5D-mark II by Canon) The card is working as it should and only needs the camera to be restarted on the next file (usually not much of a problem on movie style shooting - but, a problem with long format shooting.) until you fill up the card. For me, the card is a good product at a very good price. I plan on using this card mainly for shooting video, but, I also use the camera for stills as well as movie shooting. I would buy this Transcend card again.

Shooting RAW I can get over 3000 images on this card! I recently shot a bicycle race with this card in my camera. Only rarely did my shooting buffer fill up because this card is so fast!
