I've gone through many cases over the years, we needed one good backpack. Can't be too big, don't want to carry much weight, but two bodies and a long lens at least. This one does that, but only with one body and lens attached. Well made, easy to put on, well padded, moisture protected, light and many compartments - all useable. I like this case a lot, really, almost perfect.

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner 300 AW Backpack (Black):
This backpack is a great large bag, my Canon 60d fits with the battery grip on... with a tight close of the zipper tho. attached is the 50mm & then 11-16, 18-135, and a 70-300 lens all fit great with more spots left, filling those hold my LCD viewfinder, charger, 3 lens hoods and an extr a battery grip tray
I bought this bag recently and have loved it, but the tripod holder for the one arm is small and does not stretch like i wished it did. Great bag other than that. Great protection,.. my 13'' laptop even fits in the front compartment. with waterbottle slots its great for camping and the AW cover is awesome! so easy to take out and then put back in a jiff. Really comfortable and really like the 2 different straps for the waist/hips & the chest strap, both really help with heavy wait issues.

A great back pack for walking around the city - not too thick but a SLR body, 3 lens and a flash all fit in nicely. Maybe harder to get at equipment but from a comfort viewpoint a back pack is better than a shoulder or sling bag in my opinion.

I love this bag. It is big enought to fit BOTH of my camera bodies with lenses on, camera and double aa battery chargers, extra batteries, wireless transmitters, and two flash heads, lens hood, extra batteries! Each in its own compartment. The compartments all come apart with velcro so you can make it however you want. It is great! I have used a Lowepro bad almost identical to this one in the past, and it help up amazingly well.
The only thing I would change is I wish it had even more fuzzy velcro on the inside for even more options, but it really isn't even that necessary.

This is a very well constructed backpack. It has a waist belt/band that tucks out of the way in a pocket on the bottom. It also has pockets on the bottom to stow the attached raincover and the tripod holder. It has plenty of room for a camera body with a standard zoom attached and then 4 or 5 other lenses including a 70-200 or a 100-400. There is also room for a flash and other accessories. This backpack is a little too large for me because I will only have 3 lenses but it will give me room to grow.

I purchased this camera backpack for two reasons:
I often carry camera equipment in the car and this size bag allowed me to organize my equipment well.. even carrying the D90 with 70-200mm lens and the teleconverter attached. I have used it for this purpose and it has worked well. And at home, it lets me keep my stuff together instead of being scattered among several bags.
I also have it for trips where I may want to bring a more serious collections of lenses... I have not travelled via airplane with it yet but anticipate that it will meet my needs.

The Lowepro line of bags are great. The 300 AW is the perfect size for me. It allows me to store my camera with lens attached, 3 add'l lenses and my flash without feeling crowded. Very light on my shoulders and, thus far, durable. Wouldn't have a problem recommending to anyone. Definitely worth the price.

It holds my D90, 14-24mm 2.8, 70-200 2.8 and 18-200 3.5 with pleantly of room to spare. Lots of nice external pockets for misc items too! Only issue that I've had is the external pocket zipper is tucked under a rain flap that sometimes gets stuck. Otherwise perfect!

This backpack is just right for taking with you to do small jobs and you need to haul several lenses. It fits my Canon 7D body, 3 lenses (long), 2 pocket wizards, 530ex flash, and sekonic light meter in the main storage area. It has outside storage and extra inside storage as well. I am pleased with this baq.

Plenty of space. You get a lot for the money. Easy to wear and feels light on your shoulders even when it fully packed whit equipment.
One thing that could be better is the strap around the waiste. It could have be a little more padding on it.
Extra + for the tripod holder and rain cover.
Over all a very good bag.

Good backpack for travel and hiking.
Holds SLR with grip and with 4/5 lenses(with hoods) nicely.
I have it with the following config.
SLR and grip with 70/200mm attached. 70/300mm, 100mm, 50mm, 17-85mm, speed-light, batteries, remote switches in the main compartment. It also has tripod attachment. Front pockets can carry cables, small soft box etc.
Cons: Main area could have been 1" deeper.
Back needs more arch for ventilation on hot days. Inside pockets are pretty much useless for compact flash cards.

This backpack is not perfect but it will be hard to find anything better. Anything larger than this cannot be easily carried around. Anything smaller might not fit in 2 bodies.

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner 300 AW Backpack (Black):
I use this bag mainly for hikes and travel when I need to bring 3+ lenses with my camera. It holds everything nice and snug. Camera with grip fits (a little tight but still closes) So far in the main compartment I've configured it to hold: SLR+grip attached with 70-200mm, 70-300mm, 100mm, 50mm, 17-85mm, speedlight as well as spare battery(s) off camera triggers. The front pockets contains other various flat things such has softbox, cables etc.
It also has attachment for tripod (which I haven't tried yet)
Cons: Main storage area could have been 1" deeper. A little more arch on the back for better ventilation on hot days. Small pockets on inside are pretty much useless for compact flash cards (with case)
It would be a very tight configuration if 2 SLRs were carried with multiple lenses.
All in all, I'm happy with it.
