The EC1815u Notebook Computer from Gateway is an ultra-slim 11.6" notebook computer with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio LED backlit display. Designed with all-day computing in mind, the computer's energy-efficient design allows it to operate for up to 8 hours on a single charge.
The system is a little more than an inch thin when closed, and weighs only 3.1 pounds. Up for almost any computing task, it is perfect for e-mail, school work, financial management, and entertainment. The computer's multi-gesture touchpad and comfortable keyboard make it a joy to use.
The system is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU7300 CPU and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi, and an integrated webcam. Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD card, and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is installed as the operating system.
