I use this product when doing Stop Motion projects so I don't have to worry about the battery draining and putting in a position where I have to move the camera to switch out the battery and thus ruining a take I am in the middle of.
The price is reasonable. I would prefer it to be more around the $50 price point but still not a completely bad price

This is a great product if your use your camera to capture video, in fact I made some interviews using this camera and was able to shoot for 6 or more hours without any battery problems. The mini cable that connects to what seams to be a fake battery that's inserted into de camera, seams to be some what delicate.

I'm an astronomer using a Canon T2i for my timed exposures (prime focus) on my 8"SCT. Do a lot of my work in my backyard (connected to AC). Works fantastically for my set up. Much better than using batteries.

I bought it as an alternative for batteries for long shoots. The charger randomly stops working and the fitted piece that connects the box to the outlet doesn't really seem to fix. The item does its job but not all that well. But ultimately, it's the only option.
