The cable does what I wanted it to do: it fires my flash up to 6' away from the camera, which gives me a little more freedom to place the flash than my off-cmaera shoe cord. It's a little loose when connected to my Canon equipment and does not specifically screw into the PC sockets. However, the socket covers can hold it in place on both ends and it does fire the flash.

I have the Canon 50D and 580EX flash. Took a bit to figure out I needed a male-to-male connection cord to make this work. I didn't want to dish out the big $'s for radio triggers and this was a really lost cost option. Works as expected. Make sure you use elastics to secure the cords from pulling out by accident.

First of all - it works, so that's good. 6' is a good length too. A little longer would be nice sometimes, but for 90% of the shooting I do - 6' works.
Not really a whole lot to go wrong here...
These are non-locking PC connectors, and they fall out easily. That's really the only reason I knocked it down to 3 stars. You have to double check every now and then to make sure it's still plugged in.
A little piece of tape would hold it to the camera/flash good.
The only good thing I can think of about how loose the fit is, is that if it ever snagged on something or someone tripped over it - it would come unplugged before knocking over your camera/flash.
Overall, it's a good cord and it works. I just wish the fit was a bit more snug. Locking plugs next time...
