The Zacuto Gorilla Plate is a baseplate used with the Striker and Target Shooter rigs and all versions of the Z-Finder. Attaching to the bottom of your DSLR using a standard 1/4"-20 screw, the Gorilla Plate allows quick release from your support rig while also supplying a base for the Z-Finder's mounting frame.
The Gorilla Plate is included with the Striker, Target Shooter, and Z-Finder Pro series. An additional plate must be purchased for use with an additional camera or with the Z-Finder V2 and Z-Finder Jr. (when tall-body or battery-grip mounting frames are required).
Note:
The tapped holes on the bottom of the Gorilla plate are offset from the center of the lens. This is only a concern if you are using the Gorilla plate with other rigs that need the matte box in line with the lens/mounting screw hole.
