Advanced MPEG-4 Compression Technology
MPEG-4 compression/decompression technology is very complex and sophisticated, it intricately analyzes the video signal to maintain superior resolution, especially in smaller file sizes. Due to its compression/decompression scheme, MPEG-4 reproduces high image quality without overwhelming network resources, resulting in better video transmission.
High Quality 120 IPS
This DVR is capable of a real-time display rate of 120 IPS at 360 x 240 resolution (NTSC), and 100 IPS at 360 x 288 resolution (PAL). It has a video recording rate of 30 IPS at 720 x 480 res. (NTSC), and 25 IPS at 720 x 576 res. (PAL), with the ability to select lower IPS/resolution. This enables the DVR to save considerable hard drive space with the ability to prioritize recording between high risk areas and low risk areas.
4 Camera Inputs with Multiplexer
The DSR-2004 offers 4 camera inputs w/live camera displays for 1, and 4 (quad) feeds. With a built-in multiplexer this DVR is capable of simultaneously recording, playing back, and archiving each camera input. This information is accessible by local and remote locations with no degradation in image quality or the DVR's performance.
Expandable Storage Capabilities
Expandable storage capabilities allow this DVR to grow with your security needs. It also features a convenient USB 2.0 communication port to connect with USB flash drives.
IP Network/Remote Accessibility
This DVR and its functions can be accessed from a remote location via the Internet, through the DVR's Ethernet port.
Expandable System Configuration

Motion and Alarm Recording Function
This DVR offers motion and alarm recording capabilities for instances where a location needs to be recorded whenever motion detection occurs, and also needs to be recorded in case an alarm triggers.
Convenient Search Function
Three search functions include: Event Search (search through a recorded video list by setting the date on the calendar display), Time/Date Search (search an event by setting the date/time numerically), and Time-Line Search (search an event by setting the date/time on the time line).
