I think it's a great and very convenient stand to have. Appearance-wise, I think it's a good blend of retro and modern appearance where it looks great with with Shure 55 mic but also looks decent with handhelds.

I bought this stand to hold the Shure SM57 mic for amateur radio. Works fine and the price was right!

Does the Shure S37A come with screw adapters or a short stand?
The Shure S37A Microphone Desk Stand includes a screw adapter for assembly and adapting to a microphone clip. It does not include a short stand, however.
