The Elinchrom Head Extension Cable for Ranger Quadra (32.8') allows you to position your Ranger Quadra head up to 32.8' (10 m) from the power pack. Cable extensions reduce the power output and slow the flash duration. For optimum performance, use a standard 8' (2.5 m) head cable.

Comments about Elinchrom Head Extension Cable for Ranger Quadra (32.8'):
Agree with the other reviews. A must have, but should have come in the kit. The standard 8' chord just does not give you enough length, and most of the time I just used one light due to this. It's a five star product but the price is way to high just for a chord that probably cost under $10 to make.

Comes in handy if you use long brooms. Also if you need to move your light around a lot without carrying the battery pack...

Comments about Elinchrom Head Extension Cable for Ranger Quadra (32.8'):
This cable is the longest for Elinchrom Ranger Quadra at this time. The picture above is deceptive because the connector that attaches to the head is not L-shaped. The cable can still be connected to the head directly, but it appears that it was designed mainly as an extension cord. This is very useful for indoor location shoot where I want to place the second light a bit far away for creative effects. Of course I could use second Quadra pack if it's really far, but another pack and battery are sometimes too much to carry.
