This Lightpanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC) gives you one of the most advanced current location lighting solutions. This 1 x 1' daylight (5600K) LED fixture has a 50° beam angle, draws just 40 watts and is driven by the included 100-240V power supply (or by a variety of optional DC battery sources, such as the Litepanels Backpack PowerCell (1.75 hours power)). The LEDs have a 50,000-hour lamp life, so they're pretty much maintenance-free. Each Mono fixture has DMX built-in.
Among the features that professionals appreciate are the ballast-free design, 0-100% dimming, and virtually heat-free operation. Options include slide-in conversion and diffusion filters and a wired remote dimmer (all available separately).
Included are one 1 x 1' LED fixture, a mounting yoke, and a 100-240VAC power supply with mounting bracket.

Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
Amazing product, perfect light. Just a little pricey!
Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
I teach at a state school and have been using a Lowel Tota/ Omni Kit for years. We bought the Litepanels 4 Light 1X1 Daylight Flood LED Light Kit. I contemplated buying the Bi-Color Kit, but could not justify the $3k price bump. I am very happy with the daylight system because we usually make use of available windows. In those situations where we need tungsten, the conversion gels work very well (much faster/easier than putting gels on the Lowel system). The kit is a great solution for us: decreased power consumption, no tripped circuits, no burned fingers, quick setup, and no waiting for the units to cool before we box them up again.
Check out the V-Mount battery adapter plate if you need to take these out in the field.

Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
I shoot documentaries and lots of interviews. These fast-to-set instruments make beautiful light that is comfortable for talent and crew. The 4-star instead of 5-star rating is due to three reasons. These are still insanely expensive, but that will likely change over time. The cable that runs from the AC adaptor to the instrument is flimsy and dangles out there waiting to be snagged. And, the AC power cables are only six feet long so you'll probably be buying longer replacements the first week.
Regardless, the light weight, low power, no heat, thin profile of these instruments makes the negatives very minor.

Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
This is the ONLY LED fixture I have owned that is truly 5600K. And the shadow softness without diffusion is very good, despite the many individual lights.

Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
I'm using the Litepanels for both video and still photography, the quality of light is good and they work with batteries as well as AC. The AC cord provided with the light is too short and the AC adapter is not as integrated as I'd like. The filter slot for gels doesn't hold a gel well, with tape still needing to be applied to hold them in if you put any sort of forward angle on the light. The daylight version of this light has a very slight magenta cast and I'm using a minus 1/4 green to compensate. This would be a fantastic light if it sold for $600 or $700—it seems overpriced at [$]

Comments about Litepanels 1 x 1 Mono LED Daylight Flood Light (100-240VAC):
I am a portrait photographer who just upgraded from the Kino Diva lights. This new light is so great. Easy to use plug in, turn on, dimmer functions. Very light weight so much more portable. I did not buy the battery pack because its needs improvment on its usage time. I find myself actually very enchanted by this light!
