The Dulce Systems 16TB PRO DQxc Hard Drive Array is an 8-bay desktop RAID storage system, designed for use in performance-intensive professional environments. It's certified for use with Final Cut Studio, Premiere and other popular editing suites. It supports ProRes 422, RED R3D & proxy, DV, DVCPRO HD, uncompressed SD/HD and 2K Film formats. PRO DQxc technology affords superior workflow and supports up to 18 real-time streams, depending on the video resolution. It even has tuck away handles for increased portability and an all metal drive tray, which looks great in any studio or workspace.

The PRO DQxc all metal enclosure runs cool and is capable of unlimited expansion. With the Dulce Systems PRO EX (sold separately), a PCI-Expansion switch, it can support up to seven PCIe x8 compatible cards. For virtually unlimited expansion, the PRO EX can be daisy chained. The PRO DQxc offers data transfer speeds of 970+ MB/s in RAID 0 mode and 840+ MB/s in the drive protected RAID 3 and 5 modes. In the double protection RAID 6 mode, the PRO DQxc can reach an impressive 690 MB/s.

The 7200 RPM SATA II 3Gb high-performance disk drives are hot-swappable and the Hardware RAID Controller supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 3, RAID 5, RAID 6 and JBOD. The Quad Channel SATA II interface connectors are made of metal and lock into place for added security. The PRO DQxc features a web-browser accessed RAID-Console, which provides quick and easy RAID management and it's compatible with PC, Mac and Linux.

3Gb SATA Disk Drives
The PRO DQxc comes fully populated with 8 hot-swappable high performance 3.5" 7200 RPM SATA disk drives. Running in RAID 0, the PRO DQxc will deliver at over 970 MB/s. In the RAID 5 or 3 protected mode, the PRO DQxc can deliver data rates over 840 MB/s. In RAID 6, it can deliver up to 690 MB/s
Unlimited Expansion
With the PRO EX (sold separately), the PRO DQxc can support up to 7 PCI-e x8 compatible cards. Fill the PRO EX with any combination of Dulce's PCI-e based products or even a 3rd party RAID controller. The PRO EX can also be daisy chained to provide a virtually unlimited storage expansion setup
Multiple Real-Time Streams
PRO DQxc technology translates to superior workflow and many real-time streams means you will enjoy your work more and get the project completed sooner
RAID Protection
RAID 3 or 5 protection schemes are the most cost-efficient approach to ensuring workflow continuation. Should a drive fail, the hardware RAID protection will keep your workflow going even with one or more drives down
RAID Management GUI
A web-browser accessed RAID Console provides quick and easy RAID management. Should you want to change the configuration or manage the disk drives, you are just a couple of clicks away from the RAID Console
Metal Locking Connectors
The connectors used in the PRO DQxc are made of metal and lock securely in place to prevent accidental removal
All Metal Drive Tray
The PRO DQxc is built with an all metal drive tray. As the result, the drives run cool and provide more efficient cooling for the entire unit. The titanium-finished PRO DQxc was designed to fit seamlessly in with your collection of high-end video gear
Tuck Away Handles
From time to time you might need to move the PRO DQxc from one suite to another or from your studio to the field. The built-in tuck away handles located in the front and rear of the unit provide for convenient mobility
Compatibility
The PRO DQxc is certified to work with Final Cut Studio, Premiere Pro, Media Composer and other popular editors. It's compatible with PC, Mac and Linux. Plus, it supports ProRes 422, RED R3D & proxy, DV, DVCPRO HD, uncompressed SD/HD and 2K Film formats
