The PocketWizard AC5 RF Soft Shield for FlexTT5 is an enhancement for the FlexTT5 (340-354 MHz FCC models) radio transceiver when used with the Canon 430EX, 580EX and 580EX II Speedlites--the AC5 reduces radio frequency interference which can limit the performance of the FlexTT5. The AC5 provides a simple, elegant solution this situation.

Comments about PocketWizard AC5 RF Soft Shield for FlexTT5:
I made the mistake of not reading the Flex TT5 information carefully enough--a Softshield is included in the box so I did not have to buy this seperately (my bad!)--have returned to B&H. That said, my 580EX II worked fine with my PWs both with and without the Softshield, more testing at longer ranges is needed to see if this really makes a difference.

Comments about PocketWizard AC5 RF Soft Shield for FlexTT5:
We use two Canon 580EX II flash units when shooting outdoors. Before using the soft shield, we use to get inconsistent performance out of the flash units with the TT5 PWs. Now the performance is flawless. Wish we didn't take so long to purchase these babies.

Comments about PocketWizard AC5 RF Soft Shield for FlexTT5:
After the utter disappointment in the TT5 lack of range with the Canon 580EXII I purchased these separetly (I believe they are now included with the purchase of the TT5) They are well sewn and fit the flash well - not too baggy or tight. They did increase the range but I have not tested extensively yet to find the maximum range.
