I am a press photographer for a major Korean newspaper. I bought the SD7 on a faith that it will fit my Canon 5D Mark III. Well, NOPE. I even read Travis feedback and chatted with a rep from B&H. NOPE. Shipping was quick. Ordered it on a Wed morning and received it on Friday with 2 day shipping. I left on my trip on Saturday early morning. I opened it on my drive to Eastern Sierras from OC. Put it inside my 5D Mark III and nothing. My Turbo 3 wont even light up. I took a look at my Mark III battery and the contact location is different than the SD7. Though Mark II & Mark III takes the same battery, the SD7 I received has battery contact locations at the ends of the adapter. Another words, battery will go into my camera,but it will never supply power to it. I just got back. I have not even had a chance to unload my car. I turned on my computer to leave this comment. I believe Quantum totally screwed up. The box states SD7. The cable states SD7. Yet, this will not supply my Mark III or my friends Mark II. This mishap put a huge hamper on some of my plans. Photos to follow tomorrow. I'm going to ship this defective/junk product back and I will demand a correct replacement

The Quantum SD7 Power Cable would be compatible with the 5D III, and allow you to power the camera using the 2x2 Power Pack or the Turbo 3.
