I bought this to have a small TV in a spare bedroom/home office. I didn't expect more than very basic and that's what this Coby TV is. The specs for viewing angle were "not specified" and for a good reason - if your eyes are not 100% in line with the screen the images will disappear or be washed out altogether. There is no way to tilt the display. The glossy screen reflects any room lights. Skin tones are mottled up and I doubt the display is more than 32K colors. Takes 8 seconds to boot up and up to 5 seconds to change a channel.
That all said, it does the job of delivering basic cable content, just not clearly or fast. The remote is pretty good for something this inexpensive. One nice surprise - during setup while scanning (which took 12 minutes), it grabbed 18 additional digital channels beyond my basic service.

I am using this 15" Coby in my kitchen. For its size it is a good TV and a good buy. The color is excellent and the picture in HD is excellent. I recommend it for small places like kitchens; office; small bedrooms. It is not a TV for a livingroom, etc. The sound is OK; it workes in small areas.
