Designed with the pro, as well as any enthusiastic lover of photography in mind, the NX100 gives you the best of both worlds - manual controls, a 20-50mm zoom lens with interchangeable lens options, 720p HD video, and an APS-C sensor with 14.6MP - all in a compact and lightweight camera. The NX100 utilizes its i-Function lens to make switching things up easy and intuitive. The built-in i-Scene system mode instantly identifies the type of lens that you've attached. Then, i-Scene suggests the kinds of scenes that particular lens is idea for. Using the i-Function lens and the i-Function button you have the ability to change settings such as ISO, shutter speed, aperture, EV, and WB for the correct settings for your scene.
No matter what lens you've attached the NX100 shoots both 14.6MP stills and 720p HD video, using its "super large" APS-C CMOS sensor. With the ability to go up to 6400 in the ISO setting, even capturing low light settings without a flash is a possibility. And video or stills, the camera's impressive 3" AMOLED display helps you compose, playback and enjoy all your memories.
When it comes time to spice things up, the NX100 gives you the option to use creative filters using its Smart Filter feature. Choose from the miniature filter, the vignetting filter, the fisheye filter and more to give your images some personality. Other helpful features of the NX100 include the ability to add on a number of optional accessories - like GPS, flashes, of course the aforementioned additional lenses, and a remote.
