The SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight is built for performance and durability with a high-efficiency LED lamp, a high-strength aluminum body, and a hard anodized finish that is resistant to scratching and weather. Power output is 200 lumens in high mode and 15 lumens in low, battery saving mode. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector produces a wider beam for generous peripheral illumination.
This flashlight offers a simple tailcap switch for switching between modes. One quick press turns the flashlight on momentarily in low mode, two quick presses keeps it on in low mode, pressing and holding it for two seconds activates full power mode. Power is supplied by two 123A long lasting lithium batteries which provide a burn time of up to 45 hours in low mode. Brightness is maintained until the batteries are completely drained. A lockout tailcap keeps the flashlight from being turned on accidentally when not in use.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight:
This by far the best flashlight on the market. Easy to use just click the switch. Has to levels of light. With a new baby in the house it really helps getting around without turning on any lights. And B&H has the best prices on Surefire products, I know because I've looked.

Good flashlight overall but I expected 200 lumens was going to be brighter than it was.

These tired eyes need more light and this dual-output light fills the bill. A low light and an ultra bright is a great addition. I have owned several SureFire flash lights and this is the best yet.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight:
Ok so I'll preface I'm a bit of a flashlight geek and may own a collection of high powered flashlights. I am really fond of this latest 6PX/G2X series of surefire flashlights. Owning several other surefire models that cost in the three hundred dollar range these have a great cost/power & feature ratio. I will note that most of my flashlight use can be attributed to my job as an engineer on a US military ship. The high and lower powered modes cover the majority of lighting situations you run into and the available color lenses work, although not nearly as conveniently as a multi-spectrum surefire such as the A2 Aviator. Plus the lower cost of one of these means I'm slightly more inclined to lend it to someone. (Over my dead body is my typical response to that question with any of my other nice flashlights). Now these guys do take 123A batteries but in reality there realistically easy to find and not that expensive for their capacity compared to traditional AA or worse D batteries especially if you buy in bulk (12+ boxes). If you buy singles at the local store you will pay through your nose. So if you are looking for a good solid flash light at an affordable price pick up one of these. I like the aluminum ones better but if you prefer the indestructible polymer grab a G2X instead, its a bit cheaper and has the same features and light output just a polymer tube rather than a metal one. Oh be warned once you buy one you will be addicted and will find using those $5 disposable flashlights an infuriating experience and if you already have contracted this disease this latest series is a great way to pass it on to your family and friends without breaking the bank.

Dual output very useful, easy to toggle between both, or use just low power on-off when you need it.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight:
For the money spent, this is a top quality flashlight. In comparison to other "Surefire" products it absolutely the same precision of manufacture, but with the price difference you lose some extra features you would find on the more expensive end of their product line. But you still get the dual output (which is very nice) and the "Surefire" quality.
Actually thinking about purchasing more!!

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight:
This replaces the E1B I kept in my coat pocket "just in case".
Pros:
Lightweight
Durable
Fits the hand well
2x brighter than the E1B.
½ the price of the E1B
The batteries keep the light bright until they die.
Cons:
Since the light doesn't fade as the batteries run down there is no way to tell when it's going to suddenly give out. I always carry a spare set of batteries with the flashlight.
A pocket clip or lanyard ring would have been nice for "hands free use".
I deducted a ½ point for each of these.
Conclusion:
The 6PX Pro and 2 E1B's I own are the only flashlights I use now. I've donated all the other flashlights I had lying around the house (10 of them) to charity.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight:
Finger grooves on barrel are excellent! The older 6P's have a cross hatched pattern that was supposed to aid in grip. Not too good with sweaty hands.
The 3 finger grooves give a better place to grip and hold the light.
TWO way switch is awesome. Halfway push or full click for constant on. My older G2 required me to turn the tail cap all the way in order to engage a constant on status.
15 lumens low 200 lumens high.
Would have liked 20 or 25 lumens instead of 15 on low. 15 is just about right, but there are times when you wish it was just a little bit more.
2.5 hours on high(200 lumens) - would be nice it it were longer.
45 hours when used in low (15 lumes) is AWESOME!
cr123 batts can get expensive, but being lithium = great shelf life and full power during use.

I used two of these flashlights to light a scene in a short film. The output was consistent and impressive.
