Toshiba A665-3DV8 Overview

The Satellite A665-3DV8 15.6" Notebook Computer from Toshiba is a 15.6" notebook computer with full support for 3D graphics. Thanks to a 120Hz LCD and the included nVIDIA 3D VISION glasses, the computer is able to present content in real, stunning 3D. The underlying technology even allows you to watch standard 2D content in 3D.

Of course, you'll also be able to use the computer to view standard, 2D content in its native form. The computer features a LED backlit keyboard with a chiclet design and a dedicated numeric keypad. Its large touchpad supports multi-touch input, giving you full control over your system.

A Blu-ray burner allows you to watch movies in true high-definition. You can view them on the system's 720p HD screen, or output to an HDTV via HDMI. You'll also be able to use it to burn Blu-ray discs, as well as to read and burn standard DVD and CD discs. It even supports printing disc artwork when using Labelflash media.

The system is powered by a quad-core 1.73GHz Intel Core i7-740QM CPU, which can be overclocked to 2.93GHz using Intel Turbo Boost. Graphics are provided by a dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M GPU with 1GB of GDDR3 memory. The computer also boasts 6GB of RAM, a 640GB 5400rpm hard drive, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11n Wi-Fi, an ExpressCard expansion slot, an integrated webcam and microphone, and a memory card reader. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
