I ordered one of these in 07-2011, and accidentally lost it! :( HOWEVER...! I "REORDERED," and bought the same one AGAIN, in 12-2011. Was recommended by customer rep. for someone like me that wanted a CRYSTAL CLEAR PHOTO, and "USER FRIENDLY!" This camera is AWESOME! I'm still learning ALL the capabilities this camera has on it! I "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" this camera for ANYONE!!! :)

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Digital Camera (Blue):
I just love this camera! I'm not very knowledgeable about cameras and tech gear, so I'm not sure if that makes my opinion MORE or LESS valuable, but I can reassure other non-techies that this camera is very easy to use and does a wonderful job. Really a pleasure to use!
I took it to a concert at a pub and was able to take wonderful pictures with and without the flash, and the video came out great. Crisp, clear images and the sound of the video was excellent!
The camera is light-weight, and it's big enough to easily hold onto while using, and small enough that I can fit it into my medium-sized purse, even in the padded case. It was easy to turn the flash off and on, zoom in and out, and review my pictures and videos. The screen is large and very bright!
All in all, a lovely camera and I'm so glad I made the purchase. A few of my friends liked it, too. One liked it so much she has since purchased it for herself, and another friend has said he plans to do so. I guess I must do a good job selling it's features!

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Digital Camera (Blue):
So far, I love this camera! Truthfully, I've only had it a little while and haven't learned how to use it much, but so far, it's fantastic. Especially compared to my old camera (a Nikon Coolpix), this Lumix takes pictures that are much clearer and cleaner, with more saturated colors and great lighting. And this is just using the basic point and shoot feature. I admit it's a little heavier than I expected, but hopefully I'll get used to that. I certainly enjoy taking pictures more since the photos actually come out well. I love it! I look forward to learning the special features the camera offers.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Digital Camera (Blue):
I had previously owned a Panasonic Lumix and thought it was one of the most user friendly digitals out there...PLUS takes great pictures. So it was an easy decision when I was thinking of purchasing a new one. And the price here was so much less than what I would have paid retail in a big box store in Canada. Great little camera! And am excited that this one has GPS.

I had bought my daughter a ZS7 to take to Australia and was very pleased at how versatile it was and how fantastic her pictures came out. I was looking for a small point-and-shoot camera to carry with me and was looking at several other models that advertised HDR capabilities. I decided to go with this camera after all and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that it was capable of automatic exposure bracketing! My first try at using it for HDR photography resulted in stunning images! I am giddy with satisfaction!!

I absolutely love this camera and plan to buy one for each of my children for holiday gifts. It is easy to operate and delivers quality photos, time after time.
Experienced photographers will find that the manual settings provide an experience and results similar to a traditional DSLR. Less experienced photographers will enjoy the many scene settings to create professional results in many typical situations - portrait, sunset, beach, candlelight, etc. The zoom lens makes it the right choice for most photographic opportunities. The Lumix DMC-ZS10 is light weight and handy to keep in a pocket or purse.

I bought this camera on the recommendation of two photographer friends to replace an older Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18. I wanted a smaller, more portable camera to take with me on a planned 6-month trip to New Zealand. I love every aspect of this new camera - the colors really pop and the clarity is great. Easy to use and compatible with iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. A real gem.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Digital Camera (Blue):
I was looking for a good compact travel camera to take on my vacation to Greece. I didn't want to take my heavy camera equipment, and I had made arrangements to do on-sight portraits of the family we stayed with. After reading reviews of many point and shoot cameras, I decided on the Lumix DMC-ZS10 because of its size, lens and variable controls, along with a great price for what it offered. I was able to get great flesh tones as well as great scenic color. I was also able to use the aperture priority to get the depth of field effects I wanted.
The only drawback on it is the shutter lag time and to get full advantage of it, you really need to know how to use its features and practice with it. You can still get great pictures if your an amateur and just use A or iA.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 Digital Camera (Blue):
This is my 2nd Panasonic Lumix the 1st being a DMC-ZR1. I found the DMC-ZS10 just as user friendly with a similar menu system. Only a bit larger than the DMC-ZR1, the ZS10 x16 optical zoom is amazing for such a small package. When I think back to my old 35mm film camera, at about 3 pounds and then another 5 pounds for a 200mm telephoto and couldn't come close to the ZS10's x16. I videoed a wedding in HD and it gave a nice crisp clean video and the longer 30 minute video limit is a plus. It's a great little camera, with a reasonable price tag. Bonus, the battery, charger and memory card interchange between the DMC-ZR1 and the DMC-ZS10. The only issue was audio wind noise in video mode when using outdoors.
My Brother and his wife have now ordered on as they too were impressed.

Lots of great features with the zoom, low light performance and picture quality as stand outs. Perhaps a little heavy for a comfortable in pocket camera, but what do you expect with such high performance.

This is my 2nd Lumix, I dropped my first one and put it out of commission forever - this is an upgraded model and it is everything my first one was and of course, much, much more. You will love this camera. It does everything you want a point and shoot to do and then some.
