Comments about Domke F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag Ruggedwear (Khaki):
This is my third Domke bag in about a year. The first is the "F-6 Little Bit Smaller" bag, which was a little too big to carry on long trips to Europe. The second is the F-5XB which is fine for my GH2 and three lenses including a large zoom one. However, for my DSLR (Pentax K-5) it was a bit tight with two or three lenses. Thus, I ordered this F-10 and it turned out to be the perfect bag for either my DSLR or the GH2. It is only slightly bigger than the F-5XB, but the organization is significantly better and that made all the difference. It is easier and faster to take the camera in and out and the added pocket is outside the main compartment (unlike the F-5XB which is in the main compartment and has no zipper). That pocket is also very good size and takes all my filters, extra battery, many extra memory cards, and more. The material seems very durable and feels and looks very nice. There was also a container of refinishing wax for the surface included with the bag, which will come handy in the future.

This is the small Domke I've always wanted. I wish Domke would start making their larger F series bags with Velcro lining and moveable partitions like this one. They would be much more functional.

This was a great purchase. It is big enough to put my camera, lens and a couple misc. items without being to large to get around.

Comments about Domke F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag Ruggedwear (Khaki):
I have plenty of bags but they are all suited for bulky SLR equipment. I decided to get back to film again and dusted off a Contax G2 kit (rangefinder with 3 lenses). I was debating between this and the F-5XB, but after seeing them in person I immediately decided on the F-10 instead. The problem with F-5XB is that there are no smaller pockets for accessories, and the sides are NOT padded. The small pockets allow me to put extra film, batteries, or cloth, and the side cushion gives me more comfort that my stuff is protected. Yes it's a bit bigger, but not a whole lot.
The velcro runs the entire width of the flap and quite strong, so the metal clip is almost not needed unless I am in some extreme situations. The strap has rubber stiched on the inside so it is quite secure on the shoulder. I would probably take off the "Domke" ribbon on the front to make this bag totally retro and inconspicuous.

Comments about Domke F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag Ruggedwear (Khaki):
I'm using this bag to carry my Leica M8. It's the perfect size for my camera and has plenty of room for additional lenses and other accessories, without being overly bulky. It's bigger than a hip pack but smaller than a messenger or typical sized camera bag. I feel like I can walk around in crowded areas without the bag feeling cumbersome at all.
The material is perfect, one part canvas/one part leather feeling. Feels real nice to the touch and seems like it would be very durable.
The back pocket is JUST large enough to fit an iPad without a case, but it's a tight fit. I wouldn't recommend storing an iPad in there, but in a pinch, it could be used to carry one around.
All in all, it suits my needs for a minimalist outing. I like carrying this bag because it's big enough for my camera and a few other things but small enough to wear it doesn't feel like a burden to carry around after a few hours.
If there's one gripe, it's the metal clasp on the front. It's difficult to undo with one hand. Either straight velcro or a plastic buckle clasp would have been a much better locking mechanism.
