I purchased the camera a couple weeks ago both for use in Paranormal Investigation and everyday use. The infrared feature works well, and although you need an external IR light for practical use (true for most IR cameras) it is great in low light and does not washout in daylight.
For still photos, I am happy there is an actual flash strobe rather than an LED light.
For regular use, I am pleased with the overall quality of the HD picture. I also like the dual SD slots and removable batteries as features.
One of the only complaints that I have about the camera is that it is clumbsy to hold with the hand strap and keeps shaking and turning in my hand whenever I try to push buttons -it does not seem to have image stabilization.
The record button is in a difficult place and I keep hitting the review button if I do not look first. the photo button is also dificult to hit without acidentally changing zoom. The touch screen takes some getting used to as well
Overall, I am happy with the product, and for the price of the camera, it is well worth it.

Enjoy using the camera for the following reasons: it takes up little space, even with the ir lights packed with it. Easy to operate. Dual mememory card slots. Night vision for the cheapest price I have seen.Disappointed for the following reasons: when night vision in use, battery only lasted 15 minutes. No plug in option.If you have suggestions that will enable me to prolong the life of this camera in night vision mode. this is a great IR cam without having to spend the big bucks. need an added IR light to bring distance beyond 5 feet which i haven't found yet. works well for general use also, but limited zoom. no zoom when recording in full HD.

This purchase was a gift to my son and daughter-in-law for their upcoming bundle of joy to record memories that are too soon forgotten. The product is easy to handle and delivers on video quality. They especially enjoy the touch screen. Just because this recorder does not have the popular brand-name stamp for consumer video recorders, it does not mean a sacrifice of quality and affordabilty.

The camera is small and portable. The menus are easy to use and the features are great. The touch screen is nice but sometimes requires a firm jab rather than a touch. The night vision is ok and it also eats the battery life up.

We originally bought this camera for our Paranormal Investigations, but came to find out that the night vision is not the best. But the HD, compact size, and memory space is great for hiking and vacations! This camera comes out great! During the day. Even with our IR flood lights this camera did not pick up anything outside of 3 feet. So it is now our hiking/hunting camera! Great for the price!

Phenomenal 1080p Camcorder. Works in total darkness with the IR (infrared) mode. Takes either the supplied NP-40 lithium rechargeable batteries, or standard AA batteries. Also has 2 SD card slots = 64gb maximum total removable memory. The touchscreen is also a breeze to use. Very clear picture. Nice, sturdy, and firm build quality. Very impressed.
