Using the 2.3" FG Follow Focus Crank Knob, you can activate rapid focusing between 2 focus marks. The ELE-FGK system offers lockable focus control as well. For compatibility with small to big lenses, 2 adjustable zip lens gears with 2.5" and 4.25" diameter are included in the kit. The package also includes 2 no-scuff, non-slip lens gear liners that ensure lens protection.
Made of aluminum, the Follow Focus Cine-Kit is sturdy and lightweight 1 lb (453 gram). The follow focus system is compatible with all industry-standard 15mm rod-based camera support systems.

Comments about Ikan ELE-FGK Follow Focus Cine-Kit:
The system feels solid and doesn't leave much room for problems. The gearing is tight and sealed. The adjustments are few and easy. I'm really happy with this pro-feeling piece of gear. One of the attachments is ridiculously short though, just over an inch.
There is an issue for shorter lenses like I use with my Panasonic GH2 DSLR. The unit can only get so close to the camera and shorter lenses may require the gear closer than is possible. Having a slimmer base or an offset gear would help.
Instead, you mount the FF on the rods backwards and get almost up to the camera. The downside of this is that now the same chunk of material keeping you from the camera is on the outside keeping the mattebox away. For my lenses, this can be just a quarter inch but it is still an issue that has to be addressed.
Smaller lenses like the micro 4/3rd's manual Voitglanders may need to have up to an inch of gear around them to reach the FF though depending on your setup.

Incredibly solidly built unit. Works like a charm.
Only real downside is that the lens gear is a lot bigger than most follow focuses I've seen, so it makes using this on DSLR autofocus lenses a pretty twitchy affair. With a smaller gear, this would be perfect - as it is, I'm knocking a star off, since this is a lower-price unit, and that gear choice makes it a little less practical for the DSLR usage most people in this price range would be using.
I will be trying to source a smaller gear - I really like this unit outside of that one (easily fixed) problem. It will come in handy when dealing with proper cine lenses, though...

Solidily built FF. Great accessories for this price.
Couple issues:
-minimum of backlash, maybe a few millimeters (a plus at this price, BUT with 5D MKII's razor thin depth of field on some settings, that is enough to be out of focus)
-the focus reference mark (thin metal piece that curves to top of wheel for marking reference) is very thin metal. Also not movable. Which limits where you can pull focus from, and how the FF is positioned
-gear is not easy to mount on opposite side of FF.
Recommended as a good value buy, but with reservations about it's usefullness as a DSLR rig, and in other complex camera rigs.

Super smooth, large diameter makes things easy to operate. I've actually setup with and without the ring on the lens and used tightly fitting rubber bands to achieve clean motion. I'm really pleased after researching all options, this was a great buy! FF should not be as expensive as they get, I mean there really isn't much to it after all.

Comments about Ikan ELE-FGK Follow Focus Cine-Kit:
Overall it is a great and inexpensive Kit. I don't know if its regular that you can hear the grease inside smucking, while Pulling the wheel? And the wheel is not turning like a Skateboard wheel, witch is kind a good, in my opinion. That the items inside the Box where oversewed with little white PVC sawdust was kind of frustrating, but I could solve that problem by using a whole can of Spray Duster.
The Crank is Tiny, the whip is Superb.
The Lens Zip gears are okay for the start, not the best on the Market, but the concept is great, just a bit to bulky.
For the Canon 50mm 1.8 Lens just the right Zip gear System.

For the money this is a great follow focus. It comes with the lens gears and also a couple other accessories like the speed handle and the whip that are really nice to have. Turning the wheel though, there is a slight and faint clicking sounds that comes from the follow focus and that's not so great... but it's pretty minimal. Overall, I really like it.

I wanted a well-designed follow focus but so many have hefty price tags until now. The iKan FF is primary metal and fits any standard 15mm Rod System. Most of my rig comes from Redrock Micro and it works with it w/o a hitch. The Speed Crank & Whip are a GREAT addition w/o any extra dollars. They are a must. For additional lens gears I had to purchase them directly from iKan (3 for [$]).

Comments about Ikan ELE-FGK Follow Focus Cine-Kit:
Lets face it, if you work with film cameras, HDSLR, prosumer or even ENG cameras in a film making situation a follow focus can make a world of difference in your work. Using one helps prevent obstructing the camera operator view while they need to adjust the lens and allows more complex shots and scenes. This kit to me is perfect for someone starting out putting together a cinematographer's kit or for someone who needs a spare.. I would buy this kit again and again. It moves fluidly and the parts are made of good quality.
