The Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid is 2 grids, a 25° and 45°, that combine to create a 16° spot. Unlike most traditional grids which are designed for off-camera continuous lights and flashes, this grid set is designed for on-camera, shoe mounted flashes. Rogue made the set small and light, and it includes an adjustable strap for secure attachment to any shoe mountable flash. When not in use, these grids and strap store safely in the included nylon pouch, which promises not to take up too much room in the photographer's gear bag.

I was pretty excited about this product and ordered it immediately when it showed up on the B&H site. It is really cleverly constructed and very simple to use. It does exactly what it is supposed to - narrow the beam from your flash, but I particularly like the fact that the grids are interchangeable and stackable so the one kit gives 3 different grid angles. This is more flexible and therefore cheaper than many alternative solutions. The compact/folding design and the storage pouch make it easy to throw into a gear bag.
The only problem I've had with it was that the velcro on the collar was not stitched properly and was coming off when it arrived. A quick call to ExpoImaging's support group and another collar was promptly sent to me with better quality control. I think that the width of the velcro closure on the collar is a little too narrow and could be wider (more overlap), but that's not a big deal. Given that I got mine from their first production run, it makes sense that they were investigating and verifying their QC and I feel confident that they are serious about fixing those issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Rogue Grid.

Just received it today, and really like the concept. However a few things to note: light will escape a little between the flash and the grid. This could prove very annoying for certain users.
Also my copy has a manufacturing defect on the drawstring: it is damaged in such a way that I am unable to properly close the pouch.
Very frustrating, especially for the price.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid:
I bought the grids and gels together, and really like them. The grids are very portable, easy to attach to the flash and work well, and it's a good selection of gels. As noted in earlier reviews, a bit of light does escape (I'll have to try the Pringles can work around!) and it's a little tricky to remove the gels without getting fingerprints on them, but these aren't deal breakers.

I plan on using this for general photography and portraits.
It's pretty easy to use except for trying to take the gels out after you have put them in without getting finger prints all over them. It is easy to use other than that and makes a nice spot at the 3 angles that they advertise.
The biggest downside to this product is that it falls off all the time. It does not secure very well to the flash. If the flash is at a downward angle, I have had to use gaffers tape to keep it on the flash.
I would recommend looking at all your options before buying this one.

I would say this grid is well-made. I, however think it is a little over-priced but it seems like most products from this manufacturer follow the same trend. It does work well though. It is nice and works well. I should have bought the Rogue grid with the filters to save a couple bucks on them.

Great product. Simple to use and does exactly what it's supposed to do.
I think it's a bit overpriced but it definitely worth the money. It fit all my flashes and has 3 grids in one. It's also very easy to attach color gels to it.
A must for anyone who does creative lighting.

Very useful for creating a spotlight using Speedlites. I am pleased with how quickly and easily the combination of grids can be assembled, as well as the pouch it comes with. The gels for the Rogue 3-in-1 also work very well.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid:
Great spot light, very adjustable. The only thing I would have like to see was a little more "rubber" protuding out where it wraps around the flash. This would prevent slippage better than having to wrap it so tight. It holds okay, but you do have to wrap it pretty tight! I have only had a chance to use it a few times, and did not have any trouble with it.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid:
I didn't give this a 5 star because I do find it kind of fiddly. I was using it on 3 different flashes, and found it hard to stop some of the light from escaping from the cloth strap. But I did find a work-around. But a container of "pringles", eat the chips and enjoy them. Then take the top and bottom off of the container. The bezel will fit nice and snug in one end, and the other end will fit over the flash head. You will probably find you need to squish that end and maybe install a little velcro. After that it worked great.l

Compact and easy to use. With great results.
Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue 3-in-1 Honeycomb Grid:
In comparison to the Honl grids the Rogue produces a slightly cleaner beam of light. This is probably due to the grids being mounted a little further away from the flash head. I also like that you can tighten the beam as small as 16 deg in comparison to the the Honl 1/8 which is roughly equivalent to 24 deg. The only thing I don't like is about this product is that it takes longer to mount the system. Otherwise highly recommended.
