To get the best from your digital camera, use a gray card to accurately set white balance. WhiBal's G7 White Balance Studio Card is an extremely accurate, convenient gray card that can hang on a studio hook or lanyard (not included), and can be used in any shooting situation. It can also be used to set neutral White and Black reference areas for setting dynamic range in digital capture using the Black and White Eyedroppers available within Lightroom and other RAW conversion software, Photoshop and most other editing software.
By photographing a gray card reference for each lighting situation, you'll be able to achieve a proper white balance for all of your pictures. The gray card reference picture can be used with software to balance the color casts that various lighting conditions produce with all digital cameras.

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
I work as a staff photographer for a college, and so I shoot everything from studio portraits, to athletic events, to faculty/student organization portraits outside, to student activities and club events, to Opera performances. Overall, I found the G7 White Balance Studio Card to be exceedingly useful. Esecially for shooting under pretty consistent lighting conditions. It is great for studio and other portrait work and also works well with athletic events. It tends to be less helpful when you have a mix of light falling in a frame or the lighing is in a state of flux. As for the size, it's big enough to be captured well in a test shot, but small enough to slip into your pocket.
Overall great product!

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
Pro user... Mine had a slight yellow bias as compared to other cards... disappointed. If you buy, get the bigger card for in camera white balance. Otherwise you may find yourself pulling out a macro lens every time you use it. Overall, does respectable job for in-camera white balance and not very good job in RAW post...

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
It does what it says, measures the white balance very accurate. Only downside with this one is that there was no "stand" like the pocket version has. Perfect size

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
Excellent size, easily fits into my Lowepro S&F Series Filter Pouch 100 ... just take one photo of the WhiBal in the same direction as the subject with source light and watch how fast your post production work gets with this handy tool. The only reason I gave 4 stars is for not including a simple string or an attachment so it does not get lost easily...all it has is a hole. But again it costs less then a third of ExpoDisc. I prefer using both ExpoDisc as well as WhiBal for different situations ... both complement each other.

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
Ideal for both exposure and WB. A convenient size, much easier to take readings on the larger size card than the small one, yet still highly portable and easily fits in camera bag.

Comments about WhiBal G7 White Balance Studio Card:
Since I own a 18% grey card Im more confident about the final result of my work. At pre-production I always use it to ensure correct exposure and then as a white balance in post... The only downside of the Whibal is that during daylight and at direct sun it gets soft and flimsy.
