The Satellite L745D-S4230 14" Laptop Computer from Toshiba is a portable computer, built with performance in mind. The system's 14" widescreen display features a 16:9 aspect ratio and the ability to display 720p video at native resolution. The LED backlight uses less energy and has fewer environmental toxins than a traditional CCFL lamp, while at the same time delivering superior image quality and evenly distributed lighting -- without the need for warm-up time.

The computer also sports an integrated memory card reader, webcam, and eSATA port. Its keyboard is comfortable to use, and the computer's touchpad supports multi-touch input. The Satellite features Toshiba's Aluminum finish in blue.

The system is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz AMD A6-3400M CPU. It boasts 4GB of memory, a 640GB 5400rpm hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and integrated AMD Radeon HD 6520 graphics. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
