The Datavideo 8-Input HD Live Production Switcher is designed for switching up to 8 inputs to 1 HD-SDI (PGM), 1 HD-SDI (PVW), 1 DVI-D (multi-view), 2 HD-SDI (multi 1/2 - outputs that can be assigned), 1 HD-YUV, and 4 AUX output ports. Featuring a touch screen, the switcher allows you to select EFX, stills, and balance colors for quick operation. Chromakey allows you to perform editing of videos by allowing compositing of images or frames together.

The 8-Input HD Live Production Switcher supports 3D transition effects. Dual PiP offers 2 windows on the main window for review of video feeds from multiple sources. In addition, the switcher provides multi-language support and a full size keyboard for control. Flex Source component, which is similar to a second M/E, doubles the switcher's operability. The 8-Input HD Live Production Switcher comes with a convenient shallow front-to-back chassis and is suitable for use in mobile applications.
