The Ikelite Underwater Housing for Pentax K5 / K7 is a durable, clear polycarbonate waterproof camera case known for its corrosion-free properties. The housing allows you to shoot underwater with your Pentax K5 / K7 DSLR camera at a maximum depth of 200' (60 m). Clear views of the main o-ring seal, port o-ring seal and camera controls are provided. Controls are accessible through the housing for all camera functions and kept water-tight with Ikelite's pioneered Quad-Ring seal glands. You can reach the large zoom control knob without removing your hand from the handle. Recording start / stop while in video mode is also easily accessed from the handle via the thumb of your right hand.
A Super-Eye magnifier gives you enhanced visibility of the camera's viewfinder while you're wearing a diving mask. You can clearly see the camera's large LCD screen through the back of the housing. The live preview feature of the camera is available for framing your photos with the camera's LCD. Release handles with comfortable rubber grips enable easy attachment and removal of mounting arms at the touch of a button. Two 12-24 screws remove the handle and tray assembly for traveling, while a 1/4-20 threaded top mount enables easy focus light attachment. The #9571.6 optional 1.0" (2.5 cm) or #9573.1 Flex Ball Adapters are also accepted (sold separately).
A full range of dome and flat ports accommodate most macro, wide angle and zoom lenses (port sold separately). Port attachment is quick and easy with a simple locking system, and the port's O-ring seal is clearly visible through the housing.
Ikelite DS Substrobes may be attached to the housing with the #4103.51 single or #4103.52 dual sync cord. The electrical bulkhead provides reliable triggering of an external strobe while conserving your camera battery by eliminating the need for the camera's flash to fire. Strobe power can be adjusted manually via the settings on the strobe. TTL exposure is not supported in this installation. Special sync cords are available to connect non-Ikelite strobes, as well. There are also several options available for adding a video light to the housing: The DS161 Movie Substrobe, the Pro-V8 LED light and the PRO-2800 LED.

- Sync cords are available to connect optional non-Ikelite strobes from Nikonos, Inon, and Sea & Sea. Optional #9571.3 features a 1.0" (2.5 cm) ball for attachment to the top of the release handle, providing a mounting point for Ultralight, TLC, and other non-Ikelite arm systems
- There are also several optional video lights available: The DS161 Movie Substrobe, which combines warm, even coverage of Substrobe DS160 with powerful 500 lumen movie light; the Pro-V8 LED light, also 500 lumens, which easily doubles as a focus light and is compatible with any still or video system; and the PRO-2800 LED, producing an amazing 2800 lumens with natural daylight-balanced color temperature and a 100° spread, ideal for wide-angle shooting. The 2800 doubles as an effective focus light for macro photography
