The 16GB SDHC Memory Card Extreme Class 10 from SanDisk is a high-performance memory card. It improves upon the previous version's 30 MB/s max read / write speed by offering faster 45 MB/s performance. Minimum write speed is still 10 MB/s. These data rates get you ready for the next shot faster, and cut down on wait time when you're transferring your work from card to PC.
The large 16 GB memory provides ample storage space. Designed with the HD Video shooter in mind, this card won't give you lag time in between video clips, even at the highest resolution. Rated at UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) it has been created to provide optimized performance for 3D and Full HD (1080p) video recording as a UHS-I card.
Note! UHS Speed Class 1 designates a performance option designed to support real time video recording in UHS-I enabled host devices. Full HD video(1920x1080x30fps) and HD video support may vary based upon host device.

16 GB sd card for $ is an amazing deal so I had to get 2 when I saw the post on B&H's facebook page. The timing couldn't have worked out any better. Right after I purchased the sd cards, the Nikon D7000 was back in stock. I've waited months for it and now I have 2 awesome sd cards that go perfectly with Nikon D7000's dual sd card slots. This sale was a real bang for the buck. Be sure to like B&H on facebook. Their updates are very helpful and handy.

I bought two of these fast cards for continuous shooting in my Sony SLT-a57. What a dissapointment it was when I actually performed a speed test. Read/write speed is slighly over 19MB/s instead of the claimed 45MB/s! I thought it might be because of USB cardreader speed, so I did the test on another computer wich has a built-in cardreader and runs Windows 7 instead of XP. The results were virtually the same. Then I thought the software I tested with might be at fault, so I recoreded a 700MB file to the card on two computers and both times it took 43 sec. making it 16.279MB/s. I did all these tests with both of my cards and the results were virtually the same. I've had this Sandisk 16 GB class 10 card for several weeks now and have no complaints. Read/write time is excellent even w/ HD video.
It's supposedly waterproof, x-ray proof, shockproof, etc. though I haven't tested it! :)
No complaints whatsoever.

Bought a number of these for an African safari (once in a lifetime event!) and all performed flawlessly! Read a few negative reviews on other brands, so chose mostly these SanDisk cards. Highly recommend them! Had mix of 8GB and 16GB cards for my Nikon D90. Yes, they're large and hold a lot of pictures (approx. 800, shooting RAW + jpg). Good stuff!

this works great in my camera (canon 60d). had thought about buying other, somewhat less expensive cards but after doing some research decided it was best to stick with the proven reliabilty and speed of sandisk extreme cards.

I use this card on my Sony FS-100 for HD video recording. Never had a problem with speed or reliabilty. The cards are such a great value, that I don't even re-use them. I can keep them on the shelf as an archive of my footage.

I only use Sandisk Extreme cards for important jobs, never had any problems like I did with another card. I once put an Extreme card into the washing machine, opened it up at the end of the cycle, and saw this floating around. I thought I lost my fotos-ALL OK-I was surprised. I try to get them when B&H has specials on them-which is pretty often.

Comments about SanDisk 16GB SDHC Memory Card Extreme Class 10 SDSDRX3-016G-A21:
I use it in my Canon, and I noticed that the video is less jumpy. From read/write tests I get about 40MB/read and about 12-15MB/write. Compared to my patriot, I think I'll stick with Sandisk who has never let me down in the past before. If you like brand names, you'll also like Lexar, but they are a bit more expensive.
