The 6801.51 Underwater Housing with Nikon D5100 Digital Camera kit from B&H is a durable waterproof case that allows you to shoot underwater with your Nikon D5100 DSLR camera. Constructed from clear polycarbonate, the case gives you a view of the main and port O-ring seals and the camera controls, all of which are accessible except for the diopter adjustment dial. The controls are kept water-tight with Ikelite-pioneered Quad-Ring seal glands. A large zoom control knob and the video recording start / stop function can be comfortably reached without removing your hand from the handle. The case features a depth rating of 200' (60 m) and has slightly negative fresh water buoyancy, depending on your choice of lens port - required but not included.

The Super-Eye magnifier offers enhanced visibility of the camera's viewfinder while you are wearing a diving mask. The camera's large LCD screen can be clearly viewed through the back of the housing. The live preview feature of the camera is accessible for framing your photos using the LCD screen. Release handles with comfortable rubber grips allow for easy attachment and removal of mounting arms at the touch of a button. Two 12-24 screws remove the handle and tray assembly for traveling. A 1/4-20 threaded top mount enables focus light attachment. The optional #9571.6 1.0" (2.5 cm) and #9573.1 Flex Ball Adapters are accepted (sold separately).

Nikon's D5100 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only) has a galaxy of professional features not commonly found in a consumer digital camera. A high-resolution 16.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and an EXPEED 2 image processing engine guarantee superb quality and high performance. The 3.0" vari-angle tilting LCD monitor allows you full freedom in composition with sparkling 921,000-dot resolution. Full 1920 x 1080p video with full-time autofocus (for tracking subjects in motion) and stereo sound (using an optional microphone) is always available with in-camera editing and creative controls to activate your inner movie director.
