With a 45-ppm print speed, the LaserJet M4345x Multifunction Printer from HP combines automatic duplex printing with copying and scanning in a compact unit that can be expanded as your needs change. The built-in 256 MB memory (which is expandable to 512 MB) allows the unit to print large complex files without slowing down your computer while the 480 MHz processor provides the speeds necessary for a fast-paced environment.
The printer features a large paper input capacity of 1100 pages for longer, uninterrupted print and copy jobs as well as a 50-sheet auto document feeder for multipage scans and copies. Similarly, the large 500-sheet output tray was also designed with large print jobs in mind. With the ability to print on a wide range of media, including plain, labels, envelopes, card stock, and transparencies, the printer makes it easy to carry out most print jobs in-house, saving the time and money associated with outsourcing.
As a network-enabled printer, the M4345x can be connected to an Ethernet port for sharing among all the users of your work group. Instead of spending money on a small printer for each workstation you can connect an entire team to 1 M4345x, saving time, space, and resources. As with any network-connected device, security is a concern. HP secure storage erase, private print, and network authentication prevent intruders from gaining access to sensitive data stored on or being transmitted to the unit so you can be sure your company's proprietary data remains safe.
