This device fills the void left by Apple developers. You can view or transfer photos to/from your iPhone or iPad with ease. I have not tried to project several movies from the device to multiple iPhones/iPads yet but I have full confidence in its capabilities.
It would be nice to have the option to physically connect to Apple products for a faster transfer rate but the wireless connection is amazing in its own right.

After charging the Airstash loaded up some videos on included 16Gb SD Card. First tried on IPhone 4S. Downloaded free airstash App. Turned on airstash and found wireless on IPhone connected easily and selected video to play and ran fine. Then connected to my Xoom at same time and was able to play both devices concurrently. Also ran fine on IPAD2.
Updating the firmware (following online instructions) worked but not quite exactly as described (did not see the airstash lights blinking per document). Some concern after reattaching to PC after firmware update but after unplugging and trying again, PC recognized correctly.
Used 64 Gb SDXC. As described online, needed to reformat the memory using software Easeus Partition Manager Home Edition. When trying to format when in airstash kept getting error. Put the card into my memory card reader and was able to format properly.
Turning on security using WEP was somewhat combersome since required exactly 13 characters but once done, devices will remember.

Love this bit of gear. Best device for transferring data to your iPad, iPhone etc. Works well. Easy setup app installed and transfer data within minutes. Only thing not so good is the size. But maybe that is because I was expecting the device to be smaller.

I had wished there was a way to transfer photos from SD cards in my cameras to my iPhone--without needing a computer. I had wished my iPhone had a USB port.
My wishes were answered by the AirStash. Importantly, it was easy to set up and use. Result: When traveling, I can back up my photos to my iPhone without needing a computer. Just put the camera's SD card in the AirStash, use it to set up a WiFi network, and transfer selected files to the iPhone. And . . . I'll be able to show friends those photos on the iPhone's screen rather than relying on the camera's smaller screen.
I've had it a short time, and using it is mostly intuitive. I've had to refer to the brief documentation accompanying it and the documentation on the Internet.

My iPhone has useful unlimited storage with this device and the extra sd cards I bought. It has breathed new life into an 8 gig iPhone I thought I would have to upgrade. I didn't want to buy a new phone or lock in to a term contract again and the Airstash 2nd gen saved me from the expense and aggravation of that. And, bonus!, when away from home (car, tent, cabin) everyone in the family can connect and watch different movies on their different devices.
The device works as advertised and is easy to load up at home with music, documents and video. I even use it at work on both my PC and Mac!
There is a free iPhone app that makes connecting to mobile devices while on the go a breeze.
