On the technical side, the Harmony 650 has a very intuitive design making it easy to use. It features a brilliant, colorful screen so you can see icons and commands even in dim lighting, with backlit buttons for added visibility. These are also grouped according to how you use them, and shaped ergonomically.
With the one-click activity buttons, you can select what you want to do -- spending less time navigating and more time enjoying your programming. The remote can be programmed using your computer with the included software, which is compatible with both Mac and Windows for flexibility purposes. Comments about Harmony/Logitech Harmony 650 Advanced Universal Remote:
I have a mod 510 already and tho I can transfer the programming, seems no way to have 2 remotes without 2 logins. I *still* have to press the Help button 1 in 3 times to watch TV, even after adding delays to the startup. The Help button *does* work, every time - why can't it just do it the 1st time?
Otherwise, everything works great.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech Harmony 650 Advanced Universal Remote:
After spending a few hours trying to do a simple setup, I called Logitech for help. I was on the phone with them for about an hour trying to get the remote to work. They were very patient and helpful with me - and informed me that it appeared my remote had a hardware error, as its not behaving as expected. I am returning it to B&H, and going to try another one. I will update my rating based on the experience of the 2nd one being sent.
Logitech support was very good, and B&H handled return w/o incident. Just waiting for new one to arrive.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech Harmony 650 Advanced Universal Remote:
I had delayed buying this because every "universal" remote I had tried previously had a button that didn't match. The screen makes it easy to program and use those odd buttons that seem to be unique to a device.

Works well. Sometimes gets confused whether devices are on or not in which case u have to toggle through the on screen troubleshooting.
Setting up not nearly as difficult as it was a few years ago with logitech remotes but still more hassle than itshould be.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech Harmony 650 Advanced Universal Remote:
Reduces clutter and makes it simple to control your entertainment system with just one remote. You must use your computer to program the remote to recognize your devices. I use it to control my TV, Blu-ray player, cable box and AV receiver.
