Comments about Canon VIXIA HF R300 Full HD Camcorder:
Using this camcorder to make home movies of family and friends... Easy to have on hand because it's compact and fits easily into a purse or diaper bag. Videos are good quality even when zooming and the touchscreen and options are easy to navigate thru. Don't like that the camera lens cover is a manual cheap plastic switch.

Comments about Canon VIXIA HF R300 Full HD Camcorder:
This is a great product for the money. Relative good image, very good image stabilizer, a relative control of the parameters... (but doesnt compare to the image quality that I have on my 7D)
The only AND BIG problem is the battery life, very short. My primary use (as a musician) is to use it to register concerts and rehearsals, and I always need to plug it to energy if I want to record a entire concert. That's a HUGE mistake of this camera. Why I rated 3 stars. Otherwise, for the price, the camera would be a 5.
