The Sony 32GB XQD Memory Card is a card supporting the XQD specification for high-speed, high-performance digital image capture. This specification has been approved and licensed as an open format by the CompactFlash Association. Now, XQD compatible high-end DSLR camera users have the ability to capture as many as 100 frames (approx.) in RAW format in continuous shooting mode with the Nikon D4. These highly reliable cards also serve to protect your data. Enjoy blazing-fast read / write speeds of up to 125 MB/s (approx. 1.0 Gb/s)! These transfer rates are achieved via the PCIe interface, a computer expansion card standard for serial interfaces. The card boasts a data storage capacity of 32 GB.
The XQD card features a unique controller and optimized flash memory allowing for high-speed data processing, yielding speed and performance that is impossible for traditional CompactFlash cards to match. Use this card with the USB 2.0 / 3.0 compatible XQD card reader (model MRW-E80) and the XQD ExpressCard Adapter (QDA-EX1) (both sold separately). These devices enable you to quickly and easily transfer large amounts of data, such as RAW photos, to your computer for an efficient workflow.
