Will Sensei lens cap keeper elastic stretch to fit over the lens hood of the 105mm diameter Sony SEL400800G? Is adhesive strong?

The elastic on the Sensei Cap Keeper Plus Lens Cap Holder is wide enough to go around the Sony FE 400-800mm f/6.3-8 G OSS Lens (Sony E). But not over the lens hood. The best is to put it on the lens first and then put the hood onto the lens.

What's the difference between this and the standard (non-Plus) version?

It looks like its a little thicker. I found that once you stick it on the lens cap, it very rarely falls off.

The string is elastic and will give a bit of play. Depending on how long the hood is you may wish to cut the string in half and add a second longer length to allow it to work with very large hoods.
