Chrosziel's Kit R2 for Sony PMW-EX1/HVR-Z7 is a perfect choice for setting up a compact rig with the Sony PMW-EX1/HVR-Z7. It fits onto 15mm rods. Filters get inserted into it from above, and can then be rotated sideways according to the rotating mechanism that is built. The R20 comes ready with included Chrosziel (410-04) 4x4" and 4x5.65" multi-format filter holders and (402-12) 4x4" for the rear stage, including a French flag and front mask. (Please always use the front mask for a focal length of 4.5mm or more. It effectively increases the image quality as opposed to flaps mounted in front of the lens.)

(The Chrosziel C-401-417 Lightweight Support System is designed specifically to accommodate Chrosziel's mattebox when using the Sony PMW-EX1/HVR-Z7 camcorder. To add the support, simply install the center bracket to the mattebox, install the lightweight support base to the camera, and insert the industry standard 15mm rods directly between the center bracket and the lightweight support base.)
